About the Role

TEPCO Group is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead and develop the company’s quality systems while ensuring full alignment with TEPCO’s core values of Safety and Integrity. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement across all operations, ensuring that quality standards are consistently met and exceeded.


Job Responsibilities:

Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Maintain, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO, IEC, and other relevant standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with the company’s Quality Policy and Quality Fundamentals.

Audits

  • Plan, execute, and oversee internal and external audits (ISO, customer, and supplier).
  • Lead audit preparation, corrective action planning, and ongoing monitoring to ensure closure of non-conformities.

Quality KPIs

  • Define, track, and report key quality indicators such as defect rates, cost of poor quality, supplier performance, and customer complaints.

Non-Conformity Management

  • Lead the non-conformity handling process, including timely investigation, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and deployment of lessons learned.

Supplier Quality

  • Develop and manage supplier quality assurance programs, including incoming material inspections, supplier audits, and performance evaluations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.

Process Quality Control

  • Establish and maintain quality control plans for production processes.
  • Ensure effective in-process inspections and testing are implemented to prevent defects.

Final Product Testing & Outgoing Quality

  • Supervise final product testing and verification activities to ensure compliance with IEC standards, customer requirements, and TEPCO’s outgoing quality criteria.

Customer Satisfaction & Complaints Management

  • Enhance customer satisfaction by managing feedback, handling complaints, and implementing corrective and preventive measures.

Incoming Material Quality

  • Ensure rigorous incoming inspection processes and material verification systems to secure quality prior to production use.

Quality Training – “Quality School”

  • Manage and coordinate quality training programs for blue-collar teams, building quality awareness and capability across all functions.


Job Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing (Electric Power Products or Automotive), including a minimum of 5 years in a Quality Manager role.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred; Six Sigma Black Belt is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC standards, product testing norms, and quality tools (FMEA, 8D, RCA, SPC, MSA).
  • Proficiency with ERP/QMS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with project management and data analysis methodologies (DMAIC).
  • Fluent in English and capable of working effectively under pressure with diverse stakeholders.
