AmCham Egypt is seeking to hire a talented and creative Social Media Content Marketer, to be responsible for developing engaging and persuasive content for social media platforms. This role is instrumental in promoting AmCham Egypts services, initiatives, events, resources, driving member engagement, and in attracting new members. Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of AmChams marketing plans to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our digital and print resources, as well as products and services.
- Develop Content Marketing Strategy, SEO Strategy, and data driven promotional plans.
- Promote content generated from events delivered at AmCham.
- Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance, consistency and adherence to guidelines across all marketing and communications channels.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and member preferences to inform content development.
- Stay up-to-date with social media best practices and emerging trends to continuously optimize copy performance.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and multimedia specialists to develop visually appealing content to accompany the copy.
- Engage with members and followers through comments, messages, and social media interactions, fostering member relationships and enhancing engagement.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of social media campaigns, using data insights to optimize future content strategies.
- Create digital content to promote AmCham Egypt as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Social Media Content Marketer or similar role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Proficiency in crafting persuasive and engaging copy tailored for various social media platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Ability to adapt writing style to match the associations brand voice and tone.
- Strong research skills to gather information and insights for content development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- A portfolio demonstrating your ability to create compelling social media copy is highly desirable.
