Responsibilities:
Plan, execute and report SEO & ASO localisation efforts for our MENA websites & apps (Arabic & English).
Review & optimise metadata and on-page content of our landing pages to improve CTR and conversions.
Competitive link analysis to discover link opportunities and work with PR on link acquisition.
Critically evaluate data gathered from multiple sources, reconcile data conflicts, and summarise complicated analysis in a clear way that informs SEO & ASO decisions.
Build and maintain our SEO & ASO performance dashboards by querying data from various sources.
Discover organic growth opportunities through keyword research.
Monitor, analyse and report our MENA web & app ranking performance.
Keep pace with SEO & ASO trends and developments and report changes as needed.
Requirements:
Ability to speak and write in Arabic & English fluently and idiomatically.
1-3 years experience in a data-driven role.
Strong fundamentals in on-page SEO and web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, DNS, robots, etc) are a must.
Proficient in quantitative analysis & data visualisation through various software like SQL, mySQL, Excel, Chartio.
Familiarity with essential SEO dashboards and tools like Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner and Screaming Frog.
Experience in coding in at least one of the scripting languages C/C++, Python or Java would be advantageous.
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
