The Transportation Coordinator works closely with the Transportation Manager to ensure that employee transport for social (as directed) and non-sociable hours are scheduled properly, in accordance with local law and company policy. This person is also responsible for analytics relating the transport services for the company, vendor management, and predictive problem solving when external factors are at hand (strikes, extreme weather, etc.).
What this job involves
Responsible for documenting and evolving processes as it relates to transport requests & services
Auditing & analytic reporting to ensure processes are being followed in accordance with company policy
Problem solving to address unplanned external factors (weather, strikes, etc.)
Project work as it relates to improving processes, user interface & technology for transport portal
Escalation & complaint management
Invoicing as directed
Responsible for researching new programs, pilots, or improvements as it related to transport function
All other tasks and duties as assigned
