AMIDEAST Summer Intern ( Customer Service / Sales & Marketing / Human Resources / Scholarships & Exchange / Education / Finance )

AMIDEAST is a leading American non-profit organization engaged in international education, training and development activities in the Middle East and North Africa. Founded in 1951, AMIDEAST in its early years focused on promoting U.S. study to students in the MENA region and managing U.S. scholarships and exchanges such as the flagship Fulbright Foreign Student Program.

The Summer Intern will support the landing function in the administration of tasks as well as a day-to-day activities within the unit. Will be rotating within the different functions listed hereunder for the first 15 working days before landing in the assigned department to be able to gain knowledge of Amideast various projects and products in order to be able to provide up-to-date information and services to internal & external clients and other departments.

Customer Service Intern:
Main role is helping in offloading and decreasing summer queue in customer service department during SAT registration & certification.

Testing Intern:
Main role is to support the testing department tests administration as per needs, as well as a day-to-day activities within the unit most importantly placement tests

Sales & Marketing Intern:
Main role is to support cutting-edge integrated sales & marketing practices, while learning fundamental marketing skills, as well as the day-to-day sales activities within the sales & marketing team most importantly database collection, report analysis and social media engagement.

Human Resources Intern:
Main role is to support the Recruitment Unit in administration of recruitment process for employees, teachers and proctors, as well as a day-to-day activities within the unit most importantly provide up-to-date information to internal & external clients and other departments.

Scholarships & Exchange Intern:
Main role is to support the Advising & Exchanges Unit in administration of several United States Department of State exchange programs assistance, as well as a day-to-day activities within the unit most importantly certification service and provide up-to-date information about the Egyptian educational system to Institutional Members and university representatives.

Education Intern
Main role is to support the education department programs administration (EL and grants programs), as well as a day-to-day activities within the unit most importantly placement tests.

Finance Intern
Main role is to support the accounts receivable, payable and general ledger in the accounting monthly cycle and day to day activities.
