You will be working as a Procurement and Logistics Specialist and will be the part of Global Business Services Business Area for Indirect Materials and Services Division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Procurement and Logistics Business Manager and will be supporting the implementation, maintenance and compliance of procurement and logistics (PL) Practice approved activities. Executing assigned activities based on the standard procedures. Your Responsibilities
Procurement: Designing and implementing plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets. Supporting regional and global sourcing initiatives as required. Working for GBS centers, support specific assigned tasks related to sourcing, like e-sourcing activities.
Excellence: Applying and implementing procurement and logistics standards, tools is one of the areas of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
Reporting: Creating and updating reports, as required, following the ABB standards.
Change management: Executing and implementing new directions within the area of responsibility.
Training: Delivering and participating in training programs as required for compliance and professional development.
Communication: Executing effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units and centers.
Process: Standardizing processes and implementing routines as per Group directives/instructions.
Safety and Integrity: Living ABB core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
Bachelor Degree in business administration, supply chain and logistics or engineering.
Minimum 2 -5 years of experience in supply chain management activities mainly in procurement.
Candidate from similar industry would be and added advantage.
Required good working experience in SAP/ERP.
Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple tasks-Efficient time management.
Good leadership capabilities with a team-oriented attitude.
Fluency in English and Arabic languages is a must.
