Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:
Writing and understanding Microsoft SQL.
Create data bases and data base objects such as tables and indexes.
Analyzing data with standard statistical methods, interpreting the results, and providing written summary of data analyses
Analysis of data ownership, enterprise wide data definitions, and monitoring of data quality
Improving data quality by and for, presenting conclusions and designing solutions gained from analyzing data
Sharing the knowledge of analysis techniques and data coding with other team members.
Participating in ongoing decisions concerning data collections, methodology, and data analysis
Setup, manage, and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services
Assist with the design and construction of data warehouses, data marts, and business intelligence platforms
Assist with synchronizing and migrating data and database objects between development, quality assurance, and production environments
Ability to work as a part of a team as well as independently, when required
Excellent communication skills - oral and written.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Science/Information Systems, math, engineering or related technical field
Microsoft Certification is a plus
2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server prefer
Experience with data analysis techniques and processes
Experience with relational database design and development, business intelligence, data mining or statistics
Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS
Experience with data modeling techniques and tools
Knowledge with Embarcadero a plus
Must be able to show initiative and flexibility in a dynamic environment
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience implementing a Data Conversion solution is a plus
