Role purpose: The main role for this job is to support the tax manager with the day to day activity prepare the monthly tax closing handle the reporting to tax authority and to prepare the required tax analysis for tax inspection purposes.
Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership
Prepare the monthly tax closing files calculating the required taxes to be booked and present the result to the management.
Support other functions with tax consultancy.
Representing the company in front of Egyptian tax authorities regarding all types of tax inspections.
Prepare the monthly tax reporting to tax authority upload all tax reports to tax authority portal and payments to tax authority.
Prepare group tax submission and forecast cycles.
Prepare the required tax analysis and tax provision for external auditors.
Review the balance sheet tax accounts making sure of accurate tax allocation.
Core Competencies Knowledge And Experience
Basic knowledge in Egyptian tax laws.
Basic knowledge in handling the tax related issues with Authorities and other stakeholders.
Good knowledge in accounting treatments for tax area.
High negotiation skills to handle the tax negotiation with local/foreign vendors.
High analytical skills to challenge the tax authority claims.
Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications
Bachelor degree in accounting or finance.
1-3 years experience in finance.
Fair knowledge in local tax laws and regulations and reporting procedures.
Excellent knowledge of computer skills.
Decision maker and Problem Solver
Excellent Communication& interpersonal skills and leading
Excellent negotiation skills.
Provide ongoing training communication of corporate/department policies and procedures.
