A Well known Company is looking for looking for an ambitious organized and self disciplined Bookkeeper
Job Responsibilities
Review and understand the nature of each transaction along with its supporting document and identify the classification for each transaction
identify if supporting documents are taxable or non taxable
prepare transaction log summarizing all of the above and highlight any missing documents or information to be communicated to the client
Assist in month end closing through following the month end closing checklist
Prepare cheque register fixed asset register and bank reconciliation
Monthly reports Summarizing the business s financial position
Works with the tax preparer and assist with tax compliance
Ensure transactions are recorded on QuickBooks using correct form
Job Requirements
Have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting Finance or relevant
1 3 years experience in general accounting
Knowledge of finance principles
Data Entry skills
Technical accounting skills
Proficiency in relevant accounting software is preferable
Accuracy and great attention to detail
Excellent in the use of MS Office Word Excel
