Role Purpose

 

  • Overall responsibility of accounts payable, maintain high level of book keeping accuracy.

 

  • Upload the vendor payment requests on internet banking timely.

 

  • Sustain excellence in on-going FTE & 3rd Party Expenses on Concur system.

 

  • Maintain accounting system that meets the specifications of the company accounting manual and reporting requirements and high compliance standards.

 

  • Keep Vendor Master Data updated.

 

  • Support Finance team in internal and external audits and support in sustaining good tax position of Syngenta Egypt.

 

  • Support the finance for any Iscala projects or any process enhancment.

 

Accountabilities

 

  • Record all the T&E expense claims for all employees and prepare addition & deduction report.

 

  • Settlement of advances of employees and other debtors.

 

  • Settlemnet of commercial card expenses.

 

  • Vendor creation responsibility according to the VMD policy.  

 

  • Performs AP invoices processing and vendor payments after doing 3-way match.

 

  • Performs routine contact with Vendors/Service providers to solve any pending payments.

 

  • Follow up and maintain updated records for the company fixed assets, concerning capitalization, disposal, and depreciation.

 

  • Prepare Function Cost report by cost centre.

 

  • Active participant in monthly Lock Meeting/ balance sheet notes meeting.

 

  • Ledger vs Sub-Ledger reconciliation responsibility for purchase ledger.

 

  • Support the finance for any Iscala projects or any process enhancment.

 

  • Perform Ad hoc assignments when required.

 

  • Upload all related Sox Key controls on compliance share-point timely.

  • Good understanding of Microsoft office products.
  • Good command of English/Arabic languages.
  • ERP Experience (SAP, Scala, etc).
  • Bachelor’s degree of commerce.
