Job Description
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory within the store, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored.
- Issue materials and supplies to project teams as per requisitions, maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate timely reordering to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store area, adhering to safety and organizational standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, project, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Prepare and submit inventory reports, stock movement logs, and discrepancy reports to management.
- Implement and enforce company policies regarding inventory control and material handling.
- Assist in the identification and disposal of obsolete or damaged materials in compliance with company procedures.
Job Requirements
- 2-5 years of proven experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Controller, or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Ability to operate inventory management software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in record keeping.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various teams.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in material handling.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Willingness to work on-site and adhere to company’s workplace arrangements.
