We are currently hiring an “IT Applications Support Lead” in Egypt for a global healthcare and life sciences organization recognized for its innovation, operational excellence, and commitment to improving lives through advanced biological solutions.

Job Scope:

The IT Applications Support Lead reports to the IT Applications Manager and leads the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the LES/LIMS system across laboratories in Egypt. The role serves as a key link between laboratory users, internal stakeholders, and international IT teams to ensure system efficiency, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience implementing and supporting LIMS systems (e.g., Thermo Fisher, LabVantage, LabWare, STARLIMS, SampleManager).

• Proven experience in laboratory digital transformation or LIMS-related projects.

• Strong understanding of laboratory data management, analytical workflows, and system integrations (LES/LIMS, ERP, MES, laboratory instruments).

• Solid knowledge of laboratory regulations and standards such as GLP, GMP, ISO 17025, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11.

• Experience working with multinational and multicultural teams.

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
