Your Role

As Backend Team Lead, you’ll sit at the intersection of deep technical ownership and people leadership. This role is for someone who can design robust systems, guide teams, and think long-term about how engineering drives the business.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across Backend (.NET), Frontend (React / Next.js), and Mobile.

• Own and evolve backend architecture based on Clean Architecture, SOLID, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Design scalable, fault-tolerant .NET microservices for high-availability fintech systems.

• Translate business and product requirements into resilient technical solutions.

• Define long-term engineering vision aligned with WePay’s growth strategy.

• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, standards, and hands-on leadership.

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and cloud infrastructure.

• Manage cloud environments across Azure, GCP, or Alibaba Cloud.

• Ensure best practices in Docker, containerization, and service orchestration.

• Own security, compliance, and PCI DSS readiness across the platform.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience leading backend or platform engineering teams.

• Deep expertise in .NET, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.

• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and containerized systems.

• Hands-on fintech or regulated-environment experience (PCI DSS is mandatory).

• A mindset that balances engineering excellence, business impact, and people leadership.
