Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all phases of the construction process, including planning, scheduling, execution, and handover.
• Implement and enforce a rigorous site safety program, ensuring all personnel adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies, regulations, and best practices. Conduct regular site safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Direct and supervise subcontractors, tradespeople, and general laborers. Foster a positive, productive, and collaborative work environment.
• Monitor project progress against the established timeline and budget. Proactively identify potential delays and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all work meets the company’s quality standards, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and attend site inspections.
• Manage the efficient use of on-site resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel. Coordinate site logistics, access, and security.
• Act as the main point of contact for the site. Report daily and weekly progress, issues, and risks to the Project Manager and/or senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience at list 2 year as a Site Manager or Construction on [e.g., commercial, residential, civil engineering] projects.
• A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Exceptional knowledge of health and safety regulations in a construction environment.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable Republic University.
