Job Purpose / Role:

To perform a variety of activities such as job evaluation, assigning of grades and implementing structural changes and manage the bank’s workforce planning activities through the bank-approved capacity planning and staff modelling methodology and in line with the bank’s strategy, workforce objectives, and business requirements.


Areas Of Responsibility:

Policies, Processes & Procedures

  • Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner


Day-to-day operations:

  • Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work


Organizational Structure Assessment:

  • Monitors the efficiency of the organizational structure, develop recommendations for improvement and provide advice and support for the effective change in the structure


Evaluations of Jobs

  • Ensures the evaluation and grading of all jobs within the Bank according to a world recognized job evaluation system to establish a fair relation among jobs


Workforce Planning

  • Contribute to the implementation of Riyad Bank’s Workforce Planning strategy
  • Manage the bank-wide workforce planning activities in conjunction with the bank’s annual operating planning activities, based on the workforce planning model
  • Implement the workforce planning model by conducting periodic divisional, departmental or functional capacity plan reviews, and as required by changes in business divisions
  • Collect and update the following divisional, departmental and functional business drivers to keep staffing models current and relevant, based on agreed frequency:
  • Business Rules, Process Times, Process Volumes, % Growth or contraction, Initiatives and Project.
  • Update capacity model templates for determining the required capacity and staff, and validate results
  • Support other HC department with capacity and staff planning solutions as may be necessary, such as in the following organizational changes:
  • Department and function changes.
  • Business growth or contraction.
  • Productivity, technology, and process enhancements.
  • Staff performance and capability enhancements.
  • Staffing rule changes.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Managers, HC Business Partner or relevant business champions as may be required to conduct workforce planning activities, ensuring that data collection and analyses are performed in timely manner
  • Provide briefing and orientation to relevant department/function managers or designated business champions assigned to support in the data collection and analyses aspect of the workforce planning process
  • Develop and execute implementation and communication plans to carryout workforce planning exercises
  • Provide workforce planning guidelines and templates to relevant parties to effectively carryout data collection and analyses, and complete workforce planning exercises
  • Present workforce plans to HC management and relevant division and department of the resulting staffing plan
  • Manage safekeeping and recording of bank-wide workforce data including staffing baselines, analysis packages, capacity plans, and staffing plans.


Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • Preferably with Human Resources Management qualifications like CIPD, PHR, SPHR

Minimum Experience:

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience

Language:

  • English: Advanced
