Job Description

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain sector to expand the client base.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery of logistics solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs as set by management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM systems.
  • Provide timely feedback to management regarding market trends, customer needs, and potential new products or services.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand presence and generate leads.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 6 years of experience in logistics sales or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, transportation, and warehousing solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
