Job Purpose:

To design, develop, and review all civil and structural works related to substations, power plants, and electrical infrastructure projects, ensuring that designs comply with approved standards, safety regulations, project specifications, and company technical requirements while supporting successful project execution.

Job Description:

• Prepare and review civil and structural designs for substations and related facilities.
• Perform structural calculations and develop design drawings, specifications, BOQs, and reports.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and architectural disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
• Review and approve contractor shop drawings, method statements, and civil work packages.
• Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with international and local codes and standards.
• Support feasibility studies, cost estimation, value engineering, and cost optimization.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and risk assessments.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing and teamwork.
