Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to guarantee adherence to quality specifications.
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and optimize processes.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and coordinate external audits to maintain certifications and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards, procedures, and best practices for staff at all levels.
  • Manage customer complaints and feedback, ensuring timely investigation and resolution of quality concerns.
  • Prepare and present detailed quality reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and competitiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within food manufacturing (mandatory).
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing quality management systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising quality assurance teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working cross-functionally.
  • Experience conducting internal and external audits.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset
