The Senior MEP Engineer will oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects across commercial development projects, ensuring alignment with development standards, tenant requirements, budgets, and timelines from design to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main MEP focal point between consultants, contractors, leasing teams, and operations.
• Oversee MEP works during construction to ensure quality, functionality, and compliance with approved designs.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements related to MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Support tenant fit-out guidelines and review MEP drawings for retail, F&B, and office tenants.
• Monitor MEP budgets, variations, and value engineering proposals.
• Participate in technical and strategic project meetings and provide clear technical input.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Ensure smooth transition to operations, including O&M manuals and as-built documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems for retail, F&B, offices, and public spaces.
• Experience working on the developer/owner side is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
