Job Summary:

The Technical Training Consultant plays a critical role in enhancing the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of the General Repair team to meet Toyota’s repair standards while ensuring continuous professional development in line with the latest advancements in the field.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver both classroom lectures and hands-on training sessions on key automotive topics (e.g., engine repair, brake systems, electrical systems) as part of the TEAM-GP program and other training levels (G4 & G3)
• Conduct TEAM-GP certification exams to evaluate General Repair staff and provide guidance to help them achieve certification
• Maintain accurate records of trainees’ learning history and development activities, providing constructive feedback to support their growth
• Organize and oversee the annual skills contest for the General Repair category, showcasing and recognizing technical excellence
• Stay abreast of the latest automotive technologies and integrate them into training materials and curricula

Requirements:

• Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive Major)
• Experience: 3–4 years of practical experience in automotive workshops

Competencies:

• Strong proficiency in automotive repair and maintenance (mechanical and electrical diagnosis)
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Prior experience in teaching, training, or coaching is an advantage
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and instructional skills
• Strong organizational and team management capabilities
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with effective time-management skills
