Job Description Lead and support infrastructure operations. This role combines strong technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the storage, backup, and data center environments. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to hands-on technical work while guiding a team to deliver high-quality solutions and services.

Responsibilities Technical

• Design, implement, and support enterprise storage and backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and support of data center hardware in colocation sites, including servers, storage arrays, and networking equipment.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for efficiency and resilience.
• Ensure compliance with security and disaster recovery standards across all storage and backup systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for hardware lifecycle management and capacity planning.

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Define operational processes, set priorities, and manage resources to meet business objectives.
• Drive strategic initiatives for infrastructure modernization and cost optimization.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on projects, risks, and performance metrics.
• Support cross-functional projects and act as a subject matter expert for storage, backup, and data center operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced certifications in storage, backup, or data center technologies are a plus.
• Technical Expertise:
• Proven experience with enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS), backup platforms, and data center hardware.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, networking fundamentals, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Leadership Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles
