Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist based in Qesm Gamasa. The specialist will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety programs, conducting workplace safety assessments, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Other responsibilities include delivering safety training, developing EHS protocols, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Health & Safety and Occupational Health.
- Expertise in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards and workplace safety management.
- Ability to execute effective Safety Training and develop company-wide safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage risks in workplace settings.
- Familiarity with relevant environmental legislation and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in safety or health-related programs (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to improving safety practices.
