Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Executive to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Public Affairs Manager, and playing a pivotal role in shaping our brand voice and executing high-impact communication strategies.

The candidate will work at the heart of our communications hub, collaborating closely with the Public Affairs Manager on strategic positioning and the PR Officer on tactical execution. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with 4 years of experience who can balance meticulous writing with the fast-paced energy of event management and media relations.


Key Responsibilities

1. Editorial & Content Creation

  • High-Stakes Writing: Draft, edit, and proofread high-quality materials including press releases, thought-leadership pieces, briefing notes, and the company Annual Report.
  • Creative Oversight: Lead the visual storytelling process by collaborating with in-house or outsourced graphic designers to ensure written content is packaged into engaging, brand-aligned designs.
  • Strategic Messaging: Develop compelling narratives that align with public affairs goals and strengthen the organizational brand identity.
  • Stakeholder Tailoring: Adapt complex information into clear, effective content tailored for diverse stakeholders and platforms.

2. Event Management & Activations

  • End-to-End Execution: Lead the planning and delivery of corporate events and high-visibility public-facing activations.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee all logistical elements, including venue sourcing, vendor relations, on-site coordination, and comprehensive post-event impact reporting.
  • Brand Experience: Collaborate on creative "brand activations" designed to bring our mission to life for the public and key stakeholders.

3. Media Relations

  • Network Expansion: Support the PR Officer in building and maintaining a robust network of media contacts across diverse print, digital, and broadcast outlets.
  • Proactive Pitching: Identify storytelling opportunities to proactively pitch to the media and manage incoming inquiries with professionalism and speed.
  • Impact Monitoring: Track media coverage and prepare detailed reports for the leadership team to measure the success of communication efforts.

4. PR Strategy & Innovation

  • Creative Brainstorming: Contribute fresh, innovative ideas and communication "hooks" for PR campaigns to maximize brand visibility.
  • Strategic Alignment: Actively participate in planning sessions to ensure all communication tactics directly support broader public affairs objectives.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to identify new, modern opportunities for audience engagement.

5. Multimedia Storytelling & Production

  • Podcast Leadership: Drive the creative direction and revival of the " Innovation for Humanity" podcast, managing content themes and production flow.
  • Event Videography products: Take the lead on video content strategy for specific events, ensuring key moments are captured and packaged for social and corporate channels.
  • Visual Storytelling: Utilize videography skills to tell the organization's story through dynamic visual content when needed.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a communications, PR, or public affairs role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Writing Excellence: Exceptional storytelling and editorial skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects (especially events) simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: A collaborative spirit with the ability to work seamlessly with the Public Affairs Manager and PR peers.
