About UsPortent Brands is a Los Angeles-based holding company building and operating a portfolio of high-growth DTC brands. We move fast, operate lean, and hold ourselves to a high standard across every customer touchpoint. We're looking for a sharp, reliable Customer Service Rep who takes ownership and genuinely cares about the customer experience.
The Role You'll be the frontline voice of our brands — handling customer inquiries, resolving order issues, and making sure every interaction leaves a positive impression. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who's comfortable working inside Shopify and can navigate a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
What You'll DoRespond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and social DMs in a timely and on-brand manner Manage order issues including tracking, cancellations, exchanges, and refunds directly in Shopify Coordinate with fulfillment and operations teams to resolve escalations Flag recurring issues, product complaints, or patterns to the team Maintain accurate records and follow up on open cases to closure Uphold a consistent brand voice across all communication channels
What We're Looking For1–3 years of customer service experience, preferably in DTC or e-commerce Hands-on experience with Shopify (navigating orders, refunds, customer profiles, tags — not just reading dashboards) Strong written communication — clear, warm, and professional Highly organized with the ability to manage a high volume of tickets without dropping the ball Self-starter who doesn't need to be micromanaged
