Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the company’s overall QHSE strategy, policies, procedures, and objectives in alignment with international standards and Egyptian regulations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen operational excellence and organizational compliance.
2. Compliance & Auditing
- Ensure full compliance with local legislation and international standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Lead internal and external audits and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
3. Risk Management
- Oversee Permit to Work systems, risk assessments, hazard identification, incident investigations, and safety audits.
- Implement proactive risk mitigation strategies across all operational sites.
4. Safety Culture & Training
- Promote and maintain a proactive “Safety First” culture where QHSE is recognized as everyone’s responsibility.
- Lead awareness campaigns, training programs, and coaching initiatives to improve employee engagement and safety performance.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor QHSE KPIs and performance metrics across the organization.
- Prepare executive-level reports and participate in management review meetings with senior leadership.
6. Internal Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with department heads and senior management to ensure alignment and support for QHSE initiatives and compliance programs.
7. External Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, clients’ representatives, contractors, suppliers, and industry peers regarding QHSE matters.
8. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, coach, and develop the QHSE team to strengthen departmental capabilities, particularly within Hard Services operations.
- Support recruitment, succession planning, and performance management activities.
9. Data-Driven Decision Making
- Manage QHSE reporting systems and analytics tools to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze safety and quality trends, identify risks, and recommend improvement initiatives.
