The incumbent provides security for Chief of Mission (COM) personnel and facilities by conducting access control and visitor screening duties as a member of a local guard program. Local guards detect, deter, respond and report potential criminal and terrorist acts directed against United States government personnel and facilities and prevent damage to government property.
Qualifications and Evaluations
EXPERIENCE: One year experience in the military or as a police officer or a private security guard is required.
The incumbent must have completed or have been fully exempted from military service.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of the emergency notification process.
Completion of secondary school.
Level III of English and Arabic is required (Good working knowledge)” (this will be tested).
