We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this on-site role, you will leverage your hands-on expertise to drive efficiency and innovation in our machining processes.
As a Mechanical Engineer at our facility, you will program, set up, and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision parts for our clients. Using CAM software (Power Mill, Solid CAM, NX-CAM), you will develop and optimize machining programs to achieve tight tolerances and superior surface finishes. You will collaborate closely with design and production teams to review technical drawings, troubleshoot machining issues, and continuously improve our processes. Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC milling and turning machines for manufacturing precision molds, dies, prototypes, and machinery spare parts. Develop and optimize CNC machining programs using Power Mill, Solid CAM, or NX-CAM to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective production. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and machinists to review CAD drawings, material specifications, and part tolerances. Conduct quality inspections and testing of machined parts, troubleshooting any issues to maintain high standards of accuracy and finish. Recommend and implement improvements to machining processes, tooling, and workflows to enhance productivity and product quality. Maintain detailed documentation of CNC programs, machine setups, and production processes. Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe and organized work environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required). Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with CNC milling and turning operations in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAM software, specifically Power Mill, and/or (Solid CAM, NX-CAM). Experience with design and manufacturing of molds, dies, prototypes, or precision parts is critical. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work full-time on-site.
