About Resolve International
Resolve International is a specialist consultancy providing construction claims, delay analysis, quantum evaluation, and dispute resolution services across Egypt, the GCC, and the wider MENA region.
We are expanding our Egypt office in Hyde Park, New Cairo, and are looking to hire experienced professionals at either Senior Claims Consultant or Associate Director level, depending on experience and capability.
Role Overview This role is suitable for a professional with strong experience in construction claims, delay analysis, quantum evaluation, and dispute resolution. The successful candidate will work on complex construction and infrastructure projects, supporting clients in the preparation, assessment, and defence of claims and disputes. Candidates with stronger leadership, client management, and team review experience may be considered for the Associate Director level.
Key Responsibilities Prepare, assess, and support construction claims. Conduct schedule delay analysis and critical path analysis. Assess extension of time claims, compensation events, disruption, and productivity loss. Review and assess variations, change orders, changes in scope, and related entitlement issues. Support quantum assessments, including labour, equipment, material costs, escalation, prolongation costs, and damages. Analyse extended preliminaries, general conditions, and unabsorbed home office overhead where applicable. Review contracts, programmes, drawings, specifications, correspondence, payment records, cost records, and project documentation. Prepare reports, memos, presentations, claim narratives, and expert style work products. Attend client meetings, project meetings, and site visits when required. For Associate Director candidates, lead and mentor teams, review work products, manage client relationships, and support business development.
Required Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience for Senior Claims Consultant level. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience for Associate Director level. Strong experience in construction claims, delay analysis, quantum analysis, contract administration, planning, quantity surveying, or dispute resolution. Strong understanding of construction contracts and project records. Excellent English writing, reporting, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Experience with Primavera P6 or similar planning software is an advantage. Professional qualifications such as MRICS, MCIArb, FCIArb, LLM, MSc, or similar are an advantage. Arabic language skills are an advantage.
