Job Description

Job Summary:

We are hiring a skilled Vulnerability Management & Configuration Review Analyst to identify, assess, and help remediate security vulnerabilities and configuration gaps across our IT environment. The candidate will work closely with IT and security teams to ensure infrastructure security and compliance with best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular vulnerability scans using tools like Qualys, Nessus, or Rapid7.

Review system and network configurations against CIS/NIST benchmarks.

Coordinate with teams for remediation and patching.

Maintain reports and dashboards on vulnerability status and trends.

Support compliance efforts and internal/external audits.

Stay updated on emerging threats and security advisories.

Requirements:

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

2–3 years of relevant experience in vulnerability assessment and secure configuration review.

Hands-on with tools like Qualys, Nessus, OpenVAS.

Familiar with CIS Benchmarks, NIST, or DISA STIGs.

Strong understanding of network and system security.

Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.

Certifications like CEH, Security+, or equivalent are a plus.
