Job Title - Factory Industrial Quality Manager

Nationality: Saudi only

Company’s name: MENA Tyres. (A company established by the PIF in collaboration with Pirelli tyres.)

Job location: King Abdullah Economic city (KAEC)

Main Responsibilities and Activities

Product/Process Quality

• Definition of the quality targets according to Central guidelines.
• Identification of improvement needs and related activities.
• Constant evaluation of the process capability indexes (Cp and CpK).
• Assure continuous improvement of internal quality.

Investment Plan & Project Management

• Support the definition of the needs for investment based on local needs.
• Support timely and effective execution of investment projects once approved.

Industrializations

• Assure local support to the industrializations of new processes with regard to the quality target observance.

Operative Documents

• Assure correct application of the Process Specification.
• Assure correct application of the Control Plan.

Competencies Development

• Assure adequate training of resources dedicated to the Industrial Quality area and support quality training for HC of the other departments.
• Be proactive in proposing and implementing a comprehensive action plan that includes enhancing process controls, increasing employee training, conducting regular quality audits, and leveraging data-driven insights to identify and address areas of improvement.

Role/Level Responsibilities and Activities

People Management

• Guarantee clear communication with the people supervised, clarifying professional expectations and highlighting individual contribution to the overall company strategy.
• Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
• Manage and develop the people supervised in terms of competencies and skills, also by defining and supporting training initiatives.

Competencies and skills

• Product certification knowledge
• Product liability
• Quality audit certification
• Corporate social responsibility (CSR)
• VDA auditor knowledge (certification is a plus)
• Automotive core tools (FMEA & Control Plan; APQP, PPAP; MLA; MSA; SPC, 8D)
• Tyre uniformity knowledge is a plus
• Basic Statistic knowledge
• Product defect and Waste management

Requirements and nice to have:

• A basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is required;
• English language is mandatory, Arabic or additional language are a plus;
• Industrial experience is mandatory, Tyre industry is a plus;
• Corporate social responsibility (CSR)
• Seniority: at least 5 years in same position
• Candidate must have Bachelors Degree ..
