Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • Oversight, monitoring and verification of contractor’s schedule, schedule performance, progress measurement, and reporting.
  • Develop KPIs by deciphering valuable information from contractor’s deliverables to aid decision making.


Key Accountabilities

(Duties include but are not limited to):

  • Provide overall project schedule, progress measurement, and change management expertise to the Inlets/Offsites/Common/HeRu#4 Area of the EPC-1 Project. Responsible for overseeing contractor’s area schedule, KPIs, interfaces, weekly and monthly reporting. Advise on potential schedule issues and guide corrective actions to mitigate adverse trends.
  • Regular progress monitoring by liaising with site construction management team and contractors’ teams in all construction areas. Develop KPIs using construction data for efficient tracking of all site construction activities. Analyze schedule and progress trends reported by EPC Contractor.
  • Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests related to schedule, progress, KPIs, and reports. Facilitate periodic meetings with contractors to review schedule and progress, and report to EPC-1 Head of Planning.
  • Review contractor’s construction productivity, manpower, and quantities on a weekly basis and produce KPIs for PMT review. Adhere to project procedures and periodically review and improve. Liaise regularly with the procurement team to monitor alignment with expediting reports and construction schedules.
  • Review EPC Contractor’s progress reports; verify and endorse claimed progress. Review and endorse schedule and progress baselines and forecasts prepared by EPC Contractor. Review EPC Contractor’s project control procedures (home office and field control procedures) to ensure that company’s requirements are being met.
  • Maintain and ensure regular update of a handover-focused dashboard for the Inlets/Offsites/Common/HeRu#4 Area of the EPC-1 Project.

  • Understand key project drivers, define roles and responsibilities, develop communication protocols, identify, develop, and implement project planning and scheduling procedures. Coordinate and facilitate all planning sessions and development of plans for Project teams.
  • Planning Objective: The prime objective is to improve project performance by anticipating issues, avoiding negative situations, and reducing poor outcomes. Embedded robust planning management practices contribute to the consistent delivery of successful projects.
