We are looking for a high-performing Sales Lead. This is a rare opportunity to become a critical member of a rapidly growing, well-funded start-up. The Sales Manager/ Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of Sales Executives to drive new merchant acquisition, exceed revenue targets, and expand market share in the e-commerce logistics sector. The role includes performance management, coaching, pipeline supervision, and ensuring alignment with company growth objectives. What will you do:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Executives to meet monthly and quarterly sales targetsDevelop and implement strategic plans to achieve new customer acquisition goalsMonitor sales pipeline via CRM (e.g., Freshsales) and ensure continuous deal progressionCollaborate with other departments (Operations, Tech, Finance) to ensure seamless merchant onboardinConduct regular performance reviews, track KPIs, and provide coaching to improve team productivityAnalyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunitiesAssist in negotiating commercial offers and closing strategic deals when neededMaintain an active understanding of the logistics and e-commerce ecosystemArrange sales meetings with prospective corporate clientsIdentifies service improvements or new services by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.Recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.Work alongside the business in the areas of strategy, sales operations, and financial goals of the departmentIdentify all sales channels, and implement and execute effectively on sales strategies to win this segmentWho are you:
2–3 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in logistics or e-commerce sectorsProven track record of team management and target achievementStrong understanding of sales methodologies and CRM systems (preferably Freshsales)Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environmentMust be results-oriented and goal-drivenOutgoing and persuasive personalityStrong negotiation skills to close salesStrong existing working relationships with clientsVery good English level.Familiarity with the logistics industry is a plusExperience using support tools Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsPatience when handling tough cases from couriers .. etc.,Multi-tasking abilities
