Storage Backup Engineer - Associate Manager Role Roles in this Job Family design, solution, deploy, migrate, manage, and change infrastructure services, including but not limited to servers, storage, backup, and archiving, IT (HW&SW) Asset Management Services, Field Services and Technical Service Desk.

Storage Backup Engineer- Associate Manager in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role
• Proven experience in infrastructure technology management
• Proficiencies in technical knowledge and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Storage and backup administrators, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Set goals, monitor progress, and ensure the team meets the bigger team objectives.
• Collaborates with individuals inside own team and with other global IT teams to complete project work.
• Engages with all levels of management and key stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage support and operational objectives.

Skills

• Strong understanding of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, cloud storage), operating systems, networking concepts, and backup solutions.
• Perform installation, implementation of storage systems, and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) from vendors such as Dell, IBM and HPE.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of virtualization environments.
• Manage and maintain an organization's data storage systems, includes ensuring data availability, integrity, and security through various tasks like configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting storage hardware and software.
