Role Purpose

The Project Manager leads construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. The role coordinates with internal teams and external stakeholders, monitors site progress, resolves technical issues, and ensures compliance with safety and operational standards.


Key Accountabilities

  • Drive construction team to achieve the time schedule of the project with the optimized cost and the required quality specs.
  • Monitor the progress in the site and direct with corrective actions.
  • Revises take off with engineers and revise material requisition to approve it.
  • Negotiate with the owner engineer regarding any technical conflict.
  • Review the shop drawings of the MEP before the engineer submission.
  • Attend periodic technical meeting & attend weekly progress meeting.
  • Report progress of the Construction to the Client & consultant.
  • Negotiate with suppliers regarding the technical specs, prices to generate progress sheet and proceed with all approvals with the consultant to proceed with the PO.
  • Monitor storage stock status to maintain the proper resources management.
  • Align with QS to monitor cash flow status of the department
  • Review variation order of EIs or any modifications on the design & cascade the EIs to the department heads.
  • Handle all special assignments within the scope of the department if required.
  • Ensures that projects, facilities and functions operate in accordance with the organizational health safety and wellbeing and environment and sustainability policy’s, HSSE manual, and Standard Operating Procedures relative to the project or function. Monitors the effective implementation of these requirements, addressing shortcomings as required with relative persons.


Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) standards and implementation
  • Experience in coordinating with consultants, clients, and suppliers
  • PMP or similar project management certification is preferred
