Job Responsibilities:

Legal Advisory

  • Provide legal advice and support to various internal functions within the Regulatory Authority, ensuring all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Advise the Market Assurance function on matters related to licensing, supervision, and investigation decisions in alignment with the Regulatory Authority’s frameworks and other relevant legislation.
  • Conduct legal research to support the development and standardization of legal documents such as contracts and agreements, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality.


Regulatory Policy Development

  • Support the development and refinement of new and existing regulatory policies.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel on drafting regulations, rulebooks, and providing legal interpretations where required.
  • Coordinate with local and federal regulatory bodies, industry associations, and key stakeholders to align policy initiatives and promote regulatory development.


Case and Litigation Management

  • Assist in managing legal disputes, litigation, or claims involving the Regulatory Authority or regulated entities, ensuring the Authority’s position is effectively represented in all legal forums.
  • Help coordinate the assignment of legal personnel or external counsel to specific cases based on required expertise.
  • Participate in tracking and managing ongoing legal cases to ensure timely resolution and compliance with procedures.


Departmental Support & Coordination

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Regulatory Enablement and Enforcement department.
  • Support senior management in strategic planning, performance tracking, and team development.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with internal business support functions and other departments.


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Law; Master’s degree or LLM preferred.
  • 5–8 years of professional legal experience, ideally within a regulatory authority, law firm, or a compliance-focused organization.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, licensing and enforcement processes, and legal policy development.
  • Proven ability to manage litigation and legal advisory matters involving both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent legal drafting, research, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
