Job Description
- Conduct packaging calculations to optimize carton utilization, palletization, CBM, and logistics costs.
- Design and develop die-cut layouts for corrugated, carton, and specialty packaging.
- Arrange and manage the preparation of packaging samples for internal evaluation and customer approval.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure packaging is aligned with product specifications and branding requirements.
- Support the planning and production teams by providing clear packaging specifications and technical drawings.
- Perform packaging testing and validation (drop test, compression test, etc.) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document and maintain packaging specifications, drawings, and approval records.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in packaging design, development, or engineering (manufacturing or FMCG sector preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Artios CAD, SolidWorks, or other packaging design software.
- Strong knowledge of corrugated board, folding carton, and protective packaging.
- Experience in palletization optimization and CBM calculation.
- Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
