About the Role


We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Commercial Director to take on the responsibilities of an acting Executive Director. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a proven track record in driving business growth, optimizing commercial operations, and executing high-level corporate strategy. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing our commercial activities while also providing executive oversight and leadership across the company. You will be responsible for defining and implementing our commercial strategy to achieve ambitious revenue targets and long-term business goals.


Job roles:


Lead Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute the company’s commercial strategy, identifying new market opportunities, and leading all commercial activities to drive revenue and market share growth.

Business Development: Oversee all business development initiatives, including client acquisition, partnership development, and key account management.

Financial Oversight: Manage the commercial budget, analyze financial data, and provide executive-level reports on performance. Work closely with the finance department to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.

Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the commercial team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Operational & Executive Leadership: Act as the main point of contact for executive matters, providing strategic direction, making critical business decisions, and ensuring alignment with the company's long-term vision.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior commercial or business development role, with a strong emphasis on strategic leadership.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment, with a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to act as an executive leader, making high-stakes decisions with confidence.
