Reports to: Senior Director, Outreach and Partnerships


Purpose:

The job holder of the position is responsible for building and maintaining strong partner relationships while conducting comprehensive market analysis to drive strategic decision-making.


Responsibilities:

Partnerships and Outreach Opportunities:

  • Search for business and partnership opportunities nationally and internationally
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis to gather information on industry trends and market opportunities
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, such as market reports, customer surveys, industry publications, and competitor websites
  • Work with the senior director on initiating new opportunities for outreach and partnerships
  • Maintain a database for current and potential partners
  • Plan yearly events to engage and maintain the relationship with stakeholders
  • Assist the senior director in developing annual financial and non-financial targets for acquiring new opportunities
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market findings

Management of relationships:

  • Build and manage sustainable relationships with key local and international partners
  • Identify and cultivate major accounts, recommend and implement cultivation and solicitation strategies for prospective companies and organizations
  • Constantly meet with potential and existing clients to ensure the sustainability and growth of educational offerings and revenues
  • Implement strategies and assist in developing growth plans for substantially

Proposal and Agreements:

  • Maintain database on leads, contacts, proposals
  • Maintain a database of past proposals, successful bids, and lessons learned to improve future submissions
  • Monitor the status of ongoing bids and proposals, and provide updates to the senior director
  • Analyze the win-loss ratio of submitted proposals and identify areas for improvement
  • Implement process enhancements and best practices to streamline the proposal development and submission process
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in client requirements, and emerging technologies that can be incorporated into proposals


Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
  • Master’s degree is required


Experience:

  • A minimum of eight years of experience in creating and maintaining partnerships
  • Preferred experience in business development, education or customer relationship management

Skills:

  • Creative professional ability in writing proposals
  • Ability to project a professional manner with self-assurance conscientiousness, and confidence in dealing with others
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to identify market opportunities and grow business volume
  • Excellent English and Arabic language ability, both written and verbal
  • Negotiations and problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to develop and manage effective relationships across all levels and functional areas of an organization
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously, and achieving financial targets
  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft Windows and high knowledge of web surfing and internet usage
