Job Description

The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing Alex Form's sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets in both domestic and export markets. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in B2B industrial sales, particularly in the insulated metal panels, construction materials, steel, or building cladding solutions industries.

The Sales Director will oversee the full sales cycle, build and lead the sales team, develop market penetration strategies, and ensure sustainable revenue growth while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.

 

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to increase sales, market share and profitability within the panels sector.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand market trends, consumer needs, competitors’ offerings.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, potential partners, and deals within the industry.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade missions.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development to ensure the sales team have strong product, technical, and negotiation skills.
  • Participate in business forecasts, target setting, budgeting activities.
  • Translate corporate goals into clear sales objectives, KPIs, and actionable plans.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and high-level personnel.
  • Ensure pricing strategies are competitive while maintaining profitability.
  • Evaluate market risks and devise mitigating options.
  • Read and negotiate contracts, identify risks and ensure all issues are addressed through appropriate contract terms.
  • Monitor and analyze key commercial KPIs (market share, revenue growth, customer retention, margin improvement).
  • Create and maintain periodic reporting to top management on these KPIs along with sales performance, opportunities and risks.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s / MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in sales management, business development, with proven track record of at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in the insulated panels and/or cladding sector
  • Strong understanding of B2B project sales, tendering processes, and distribution channels.
  • Experience managing large key accounts and multimillion-dollar contracts.
  • Familiarity with export logistics and international commercial terms (Incoterms)
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies that increase market share and profitability.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, mentor and motivate high-performing sales/commercial teams.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with production, R&D and supply chain teams to deliver customer value.
  • Willingness to travel (locally and internationally) 
  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus.
