Job Purpose:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving the company’s growth strategy. The role requires a proactive professional with strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to close deals while ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth targets.
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and potential clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to understand trends, competition, and client needs.
- Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches.
- Negotiate contracts, agreements, and pricing to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance, and technical) to ensure client requirements are met.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline status, and prepare regular reports to management.
- Represent the company in networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums.
- Ensure excellent customer service and post-sales follow-up to foster repeat business.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Strong track record of achieving sales and growth targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong market research and analytical skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office; CRM software knowledge is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
