Job Purpose:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving the company’s growth strategy. The role requires a proactive professional with strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to close deals while ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and potential clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, competition, and client needs.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches.
  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and pricing to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance, and technical) to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline status, and prepare regular reports to management.
  • Represent the company in networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and post-sales follow-up to foster repeat business.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales and growth targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong market research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; CRM software knowledge is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
