Job Summary:

The role is focusing on overseeing the execution and monitoring of operational risk activities related to information systems. This role ensures effective risk identification, analysis, and mitigation strategies are in place to safeguard the organization’s IT infrastructure, enhance profitability, and maintain safe levels of regulatory and internal capital.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise the implementation and oversight of operational risk management activities related to information systems.
• Monitor and guide the team in analyzing and evaluating IT operational incidents to propose effective control and mitigation measures.
• Ensure the development and implementation of strategies that enhance profitability and maintain safe levels of regulatory and internal capital, supporting optimal investment of surplus funds.
• Collaborate with the Information and Security Governance Sector and the Information Systems Sector to develop and periodically review Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Participate in meetings and committees related to projects and risk systems to stay informed of developments, provide guidance, and offer recommendations from an IT operational risk perspective.
• Contribute to improving performance and enhancing the quality of internal and external reports, including those submitted to the Central Bank and other regulatory bodies.

Job Qualifications:

• A suitable university degree is required, preferably in Computer Sciences, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• At least 15 years of experience in the banking sector, including at least 8 years in the field of information systems
• At least 5 years of experience in managing teams.
