Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in New Cairo for a Furniture Factory Manager. The Furniture Factory Manager will oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring quality control, managing production planning, and overseeing manufacturing operations. The role also involves managing and coordinating the operations team to meet production goals efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational and production plans that align with the company’s goals.
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor operating costs.
- Supervise all production processes, including cutting, shaping, painting, assembly, and finishing.
- Manage and lead a team of supervisors, technicians, and workers while delegating tasks effectively.
- Train and develop employees to enhance their productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Manage inventory levels and minimize waste and excess costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and occupational health standards across the factory.
- Oversee regular maintenance of machinery and equipment to maintain smooth operations.
- Prepare periodic reports on production, quality, and costs for senior management.
- Analyze performance data and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and increase productivity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration (preferred).
- Minimum of 6 years of practical experience in managing furniture factories or wood manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, finishing, and quality standards.
- Proven experience in developing and executing operational and production plans.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Previous experience in the furniture manufacturing
- Experience in Quality Control and Manufacturing Operations
