Sales Manager, Egypt
Our client, a global manufacturer of plastic additives and color masterbatches, is expanding its footprint in Egypt and is looking for a Sales Manager to lead local business development efforts.
This is the first hire in Egypt, a rare ground-floor opportunity to build a high-impact commercial role with support from a strong regional and global team.
Responsibilities:
· Lead B2B sales efforts in Egypt, with a strong focus on the Cairo metropolitan area and surrounding industrial cities.
· Drive new business development and customer acquisition.
· Build and manage client relationships across the masterbatch and polymer industries, especially with manufacturers and trading firms.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the Egyptian plastics and masterbatch industry.
· Provide input and updates on sales progress and market feedback during weekly check-ins
· Support strategic decisions with insight into local market dynamics and opportunities.
Requirements:
· MUST: Minimum 6 years of experience in B2B industrial sales either in the masterbatch or polymer industry.
· MUST: Strong understanding of local market dynamics, sales cycles, and client decision-making patterns in Egypt.
· MUST: Energetic and proactive “hunter” mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver results without daily supervision.
· Existing network of contacts in the Egyptian plastics sector is a big plus.
· Confident working independently as the first hire in Egypt, setting up operations with minimal local support.
· Willingness to travel locally across industrial hubs.
· Fluent in Arabic and proficient in English.
· Confident communicator who thrives in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
