Job Description

• Prepare, review, and submit competitive tenders and pricing proposals for sports construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and related documents to determine scope, materials, labor, and time requirements for cost estimation.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary data and clarify technical details for tender submissions.
• Develop detailed cost breakdowns, bills of quantities, and pricing schedules for various sports facility projects, including natural and artificial turf fields, tracks, and pools.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, negotiate terms, and ensure the best value for project components and services.
• Monitor market trends, material costs, and labor rates to maintain up-to-date pricing strategies and competitive bids.
• Participate in pre-tender meetings, site visits, and client discussions to understand project requirements and constraints.
• Ensure all tender documents are complete, accurate, and submitted within deadlines, adhering to both company and client standards.
• Support post-tender negotiations and provide clarifications or adjustments as required by clients or internal stakeholders.
• Maintain organized records of all tender submissions, pricing data, and correspondence for future reference and audit purposes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of proven experience in tendering, pricing, or cost estimation within the construction or sports facility sector.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in preparing bills of quantities, cost breakdowns, and tender documentation.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines.
