Role Overview

Mercor is seeking qualified legal professionals based in Taiwan to support a short-term project focused on gathering and organizing legal and financial documents. This role is critical to the development of AI systems and involves high attention to detail, independent work, and domain-specific legal expertise in either litigation or corporate/transactional law.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Source and compile publicly available Taiwanese legal and financial documents in line with defined project requirements.
• Ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and clarity.
• Follow standardized processes and maintain high documentation quality.
• Verify source authenticity and ensure all data originates from public, verifiable platforms.
• Work asynchronously and meet all project deadlines in collaboration with the project manager.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of active legal practice in Taiwan.
• Experience in litigation or corporate/transactional law.
• Strong familiarity with Taiwanese legal and regulatory sources.
• High attention to detail and adherence to structured documentation formats.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver on short timelines.

Role Details

• Part-time, hourly contract with an estimated duration of 2–3 weeks.
• Time commitment: 10–20 hours per week, based on availability.
• Fully remote and asynchronous work model.
• Compensation: $40–$60 per hour, paid weekly.
• Contractor engagement through Mercor.
