Job Description:

As the Waste Processing & Treatment Business Leader, you will play a pivotal role in expanding ACES’ waste treatment, recycling, and disposal operations in Egypt. You will lead strategic initiatives, foster customer engagement, analyze market trends, and drive the integration of new facilities while ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in strengthening ACES’ position in the market and achieving our ambitious growth goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and government entities to drive business expansion.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive map of Waste Processing & Treatment stakeholders in Egypt.
• Develop and execute 3-5 year business plans aligned with company goals.
• Drive financial and operational performance to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
• Lead operational efficiency and integrate innovative waste management technologies.
• Lead initiatives to integrate advanced technologies that enhance recovery rates and reduce environmental impact.
• Train and develop a skilled team to support sustainable growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in Waste Management, Recycling, Environmental Services or a related field.
• Expertise in regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement.

Skills:

• Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking and an ability to execute against formulated strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close relevant deals in the Egyptian market.
• Able to manage a small and agile team of professional individuals.
• Strong leadership skills and proven judgment of talent, with an emphasis on hiring and developing high performance teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
