JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a visionary Product Director to lead our technology and product department. The Product Director will oversee the full product lifecycle – from ideation to delivery – ensuring our platforms and digital products meet business goals and user needs. As the head of the tech team, this leader will align product vision with company strategy, manage cross-functional collaboration, and drive innovation across Augustus Media’s ecosystem.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 9+ years of experience in product management, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong track record of building and scaling digital products (preferably in media, tech, or consumer-facing industries).
• Deep understanding of product development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and modern tech stacks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
• Technical background (engineering/CS) or strong collaboration history with tech teams preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Performance & Team Leadership

• Continue to manage the team’s output, performance objectives, and deliverables.
• Ensure full delegation of tasks to team members, empowering them to grow in responsibility while avoiding bottlenecks or momentum loss.
• Implement management requirements across brands, communicate them accurately to the team, and lead their successful execution.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the tech and product teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and growth.

Product Strategy & Execution

• Define both short-term and long-term growth strategies for all products in line with business needs.
• Ensure product implementation reflects the agreed strategy and features in a timely manner.
• Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation, design, development, testing, launch, and iteration.
• Continuously explore and introduce feasible new technologies/solutions relevant to the media industry, streaming, social media, and VOD services.

Business & Enterprise Solutions

• Manage with the team all current enterprise software, ensuring timely migration, upgrades, and introduction of new solutions.
• Work closely with the team on Odeum commercial requirements to ensure deal success, delivering the best quality on due dates.
• Support internal stakeholders (editorial, commercial, marketing, operations) with product and tech solutions tailored to business priorities.

Technology Oversight & Growth

• Oversee scalable, secure, and high-quality technical solutions in collaboration with engineering leads.
• Lead the team’s continuous improvement journey, encouraging ongoing learning and acquisition of professional certifications.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure Augustus Media remains a leader in digital product innovation.

Performance & Optimization

• Define product KPIs, monitor performance, and use data-driven insights to guide improvements.
• Continuously optimize products for user experience, engagement, and business impact.
