Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of cost accounting processes, including cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for manufacturing and product lines.
  • Develop and implement cost control procedures to ensure optimal use of resources and maximize profitability.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and inventory teams to monitor and control material, labor, and overhead costs.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
  • Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to senior management to support strategic business decisions.
  • Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to address discrepancies and improve cost efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance cost tracking and reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Train and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 year of experience in cost accounting, MUST be within the manufacturing or cosmetics industry.

  • Proven experience in managing cost accounting functions and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent knowledge of cost accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various departments.
  • Ability to develop and implement cost control strategies aligned with organizational goals.
