Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Education Specialist, based in 6th of October. The Special Education Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans, providing specialized instruction, and working closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams. The role involves monitoring student progress, facilitating effective communication strategies, and implementing evidence-based practices, including Applied Behavior Analysis, to support students with special needs. Coordinating and supporting inclusive educational strategies and maintaining up-to-date records of student development will also be essential tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in Special Education and a solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis techniques.
• Strong Communication skills, including effective collaboration with educators, families, and students.
• Demonstrated expertise in Education pedagogy and strategies to address various learning needs.
• Experience working with children and tailoring support to meet diverse developmental and emotional needs.
• Certification or degree in Special Education or related field is strongly preferred.
• Ability to develop structured and engaging learning environments to support student growth.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to maintain records and implement individualized plans effectively.
