Job Description
- We are a Jordan based interior design and architecture studio working on a compound of high end villas in Saudi Arabia, with a total area of 10 000 m².
- We are hiring a Senior Interior Designer and Project Lead based in Egypt to manage the full design process from concept to technical drawings and to lead a small remote team of designers and technical drafters.
- You will be responsible for interpreting and developing the design language defined by the client, managing production of 3D visualizations and technical drawings, and ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines for our client in Saudi Arabia.
- This is a hybrid role that combines leadership with hands on work. You will guide design direction, review and manage outputs, and personally handle key layouts, 3D scenes, and critical details when needed.
- It is a long term remote role, paid monthly in USD, starting with a 1 000 m² pilot villa then continuing with the full compound.
- Responsibilities
- Design leadership
- Lead the interior concept development for the first villa within the client’s overall design language.
- Define and document the design language for the compound and ensure consistency across all villas.
- Translate the client brief and studio direction into clear design guidelines and standards for the team.
- Develop space planning, layouts, and interior schemes for main villa spaces.
- Define materials, colors, lighting approach, joinery language, and furniture direction for each project.
- Hands on 3D and visualization
- Work directly in 3D on key areas and complex spaces when needed.
- Supervise 3D modeling and rendering carried out by junior designers.
- Review 3D models for accuracy, scale, and alignment with approved concepts.
- Set standards for camera views, composition, lighting, and render quality that match the studio style.
- Give clear feedback and markups on test renders and final visualizations.
- Technical drawings and documentation
- Coordinate with technical drafters to produce complete interior technical drawing sets.
- Set drawing standards for the project including layering, line weights, sheet layouts, naming, and indices.
- Prepare and maintain the list of required drawings per villa, including plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, joinery details, tiling layouts, and lighting and power layouts at coordination level.
- Review and redline drawings, and check that all corrections are implemented before submission.
- Personally handle or refine critical details and key plans where higher design input is required.
- Project planning and delivery
- Break down the compound scope into phases and weekly targets for the team.
- Assign tasks to designers and drafters and monitor progress across multiple villas in parallel.
- Ensure internal deadlines are met so that client milestones are achieved on time.
- Flag risks early to the Studio Director with clear proposed solutions.
- Quality control and file management
- Maintain organized cloud folders for models, renders, and CAD files.
- Enforce file naming conventions and version control across the team.
- Use checklists to verify that each design and drawing package is complete before delivery.
- Perform final quality checks on design, visuals, and drawings prior to client review or submission.
- Communication and team leadership
- Join regular online meetings with the Studio Director in Jordan to align priorities and decisions.
- Convert client feedback into clear internal tasks for designers and drafters.
- Provide short weekly progress reports with clear status of done, in progress, and pending items.
- Mentor junior designers and drafters on design quality, detailing, workflow, and time management.

Job Requirements
- 8 plus years experience, with at least 3 years in Saudi or Gulf projects (villas, compounds, hospitality or high end residential).
- Strong in 3ds Max + Corona, and AutoCAD/Revit for technical.
- Has led at least 2 to 3 projects from concept to IFC/working drawings.
- Comfortable managing 4 to 6 people remotely.
- Must have
- Bachelor degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Proven experience in high end residential or villa projects, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the wider Gulf region.
- Strong portfolio showing both interior design quality and functional layouts.
- Experience producing and reviewing full interior technical drawing sets.
- Excellent command of:
- 3D modeling and rendering, preferably 3ds Max with Corona or a similar high end renderer.
- 2D documentation, AutoCAD or Revit.
- Ability to lead and manage a small remote team and coordinate multiple workstreams.
